Ideas in the world

Youth governance and systems change

My work in youth governance is grounded in the belief that young people are not citizens in waiting, but ethical and political actors in the present. Through the co-creation of youth-led governance structures, particularly in sustainability contexts, I support forms of participation that are consequential rather than symbolic, and that cultivate real responsibility, skill, and agency.

Whole school sustainability and leadership

I work with schools seeking to move beyond sustainability as an add-on, toward whole school approaches that integrate culture, curriculum, leadership, and governance. This involves supporting leaders as they navigate practical and ethical challenges, while also attending to deeper questions of purpose and formation.

Ecosystem and partnership work

Much of my work takes place in partnership with civic institutions, professional bodies, universities, and education networks. I am particularly interested in how change emerges across ecosystems rather than through isolated interventions, and in how intergenerational accountability can be embedded within institutional practice.
